Building Rochdale's Future Together
Change led by the people who live here and know it best.
It started with a vision for change
It’s growing because of the people behind it
Over 200 people came to the launch of For Generations To Come at Rochdale Town Hall in May 2025. Since then, the conversation has involved residents, community leaders, local businesses, funders and volunteers, as well as Rochdalians living elsewhere, and on the other side of the world.
People have come together across the borough to talk about kids, health, homes, spaces, story, community and jobs. Hundreds have shared their ideas for what comes next, not just for now, but for the generations that come after us.
The movement was sparked by the Ogden family, owners of Rochdale AFC, who want the club to play a bigger role in the life of the borough, and back the people who live and work here. Everything since has been built by the people who show up. That’s how change has always happened in Rochdale.
For Generations To Come is an open invitation to get involved and work together to make things happen.
